Destination Wedding at Thermes Luxury Villas Santorini

Anna and Marc’s destination wedding at Thermes Luxury Villas brought together international elegance, intimate moments and the iconic Caldera views that make Santorini unforgettable. Warm Mediterranean light and a relaxed atmosphere shaped the entire weekend.

The day began in one of the bright suites of Thermes Luxury Villas, where calm architecture and soft light created the perfect environment for timeless getting-ready moments. Their ceremony took place on the terrace overlooking the Caldera and was led by the bride’s father — a meaningful and emotional highlight. With many guests traveling from the United States, the celebration carried a warm, international energy. Florals in soft rosé, white and pastel tones blended beautifully with the island’s natural color palette.

Dinner by the pool unfolded in gentle evening light, creating an elegant setting for speeches, laughter and shared moments. We also captured a few portraits afterward, shaped by the warm glow that makes Santorini so unique.

The following morning started with a sunrise session at Vlychada Beach. Its sculptural rock formations and soft morning light are among the most striking backdrops on the island. Later that day, we continued with a sunset session in Imerovigli overlooking Oia — a place where Santorini’s famous golden light creates some of the most atmospheric portraits.

A private sailing trip completed the wedding weekend and added to the intimate, family-oriented feeling of the celebration. This mix of shared experiences and breathtaking landscapes is exactly what makes Santorini one of the most inspiring destinations for couples.

For me personally, this wedding was one of the most memorable celebrations I’ve photographed abroad. I’m a true Greece lover — the light, colors and atmosphere inspire me every time. I hope another wedding or session will take me back to Santorini soon.
